hey guys today I have a snow day. I am going into the Pratt center so that I can get a blood transfusion. The doctors said it was normal for me to need. When a person gets his chemotherepy he usually needs a transfusion by the 3rd round because the chemotherepy accumulates and the hemoglobin level goes down. It is alright just a minor inconvenience.

Hey guys I'm still going strong this week was pretty lite not much going on. I have a treatment after school today, but it is just through the syringes so it will be fast. I pretty much can know how will react to each treatment and which side effect Will come next. next week I will have a dry mouth and might get sick depending on my blood cell counts. But all is well so thanks for listening. I am counting down the number of times I have to go in and there are 5 treatment left before I start radiation. Whoo-hooo

Hey guy's its Charlie again, I am not feeling that great today. I have an infection. Yesterday I got some blood work done and apparently my White blood cell count is at 0. I am supposed to be at around 500 or better. This is obviously not a good sign. I hope that you will keep me in your thoughts the next few days so that I will get better. The doctors gave me some antibiotics and started a blood culture to figure out why I am sick. Hopefully I will feel better in a few days. I will not be attending school this week due to my weakened immune system. On a good note I also had my Pet scan today. The results show that even though there is still Tumor in my chest there are not any significant amounts of Cancerous spots. This means that After my initial 12 week treatment cycle is completed, I will go strait to radiation for 2 to 3 weeks; instead an additional 6 month cycle I thought I would have. This is an answer to my prayers and I am thankful that my patience has finally payed off. Thank you for all the prayers. I believe that they have helped me greatly on the way.

Hey guys I just got another treatment it is the Third one through my new port. The port is amazingly easy and I hardly notice it at all. I feel fine I have had to use a zophran in I don't know how long. Tomorrow I have an appointment to get a pulmonary test done so that they can release me from the cpap machine I am on. finally next week I will get a pet scan to see where the hot spots of the tumor are. Hopefully there will be nothing showing meaning that the mass has stopped dividing.
Thanks a lot
